How to use an individual SMTP Server to send emails from Converve

If you want the platform to send emails in the main of your company / from your company mail server you have to use SMTP.

Please follow these steps

1. In the backend go to Event Settings -> Event Configurations – > Emails
2. Set the Field E-Mail is SMTP to true.
3. FIll out the following fields:
   • E-Mail Host is your
     • SMTP-Domain
   • E-Mail SMTP Auth
     • true / false  (true unless you have anonymous authentication)
   • E-Mail Username / Password
     • From the E-Mail Account you want to use
   • Secure Type
     • tls most likely
   • Port
     • most likely 587, when “Secure Type” is set to “tls”. If not, try  auto instead
